14 emerging Seattle artists set forth to transform a group of neighboring homes in Seattle’s North Capitol Hill. The homes, slated for demolition later this summer, will be turned into site-specific neighborhood art installations.

Located at 711 Bellevue Ave E in Seattle, the project is free to view from July 16 – August 7, Noon-7pm.

Produced by MadArt, Mad Homes supports local emerging artists with a rare opportunity to create art without conventional constraints. MadArt is a 4Culture 2011 Group Arts Projects recipient for this project.

Artists include Troy Gua, Julia Haack, Meg Hartwig, Luke Haynes, Amanda Manitach, Ryan Molenkamp, Allan Packer, Jason Puccinelli and Elizabeth Potter, Sutton Beres Culler, Laura Ward and Allyce Wood.

Who can resist a shrink wrapped home or wall clothes?
