4Culture staff is pleased to offer free workshops to assist applicants interested in applying to our programs. Applications for artists, art groups, heritage specialists, arts organizations and heritage organizations will be offered in January and February 2013, for programs with deadline dates in late-February and March. Join us to learn more about our upcoming opportunities and how to apply for funding.

Our informal workshops offer a general introduction to 4Culture’s funding programs, as well as provide step-by-step guidance through the application process and an opportunity to talk directly with staff and hear from other applicants.

INTRODUCTION TO 4CULTURE – 1st Thursdays

Are you curious about 4Culture and want to learn more? Do you know someone who you think could benefit from our programs, but are not sure where to direct them? 4Culture hosts Introduction to 4Culture, drop-in welcome meetings during Pioneer Square’s First Thursday Art Walk from 6-8 pm on February 7, March 7, April 4 and May 2, 2013.

No need to RSVP, just stop-by to get an overview or ask a few questions. You’ll also be sure to enjoy the festive atmosphere of the nation’s oldest art walk night. Many King County Metro buses stop within one block of 4Culture. FREE parking is also available these evenings from participating garages when you receive a voucher from 4Culture. Participating Garages Include:

Frye Parking Garage – 117 3rd Ave S
Pioneer Square Garage – 74 S Jackson Street
Merrill Place Garage – 72 S King Street
