It’s that time of year folks – deadlines for project grants in arts, heritage and preservation projects are right around the corner. Did you know that we hold a series of free workshops to help you prepare the best application ever? These informal small workshops are held to answer your questions and demystify our applications process. We want to see you there!

PROJECT DEADLINES

Heritage Projects – Deadline: Wednesday, February 25, 2015
Open to individuals and organizations for support of innovative proposals to document and interpret the history of King County. Awards range from $1,000 to $10,000.

Preservation Special Projects –Deadline: Wednesday, February 25, 2015
Open to individuals, organizations and public agencies that have projects that highlight historic places in innovative ways. The program offers funding for neighborhood survey/inventory, landmark registration, project planning and more.  Capital improvement or “bricks and mortar” project are not eligible through this program but are eligible through our Landmarks Capital program. Awards range from $3,000 to $10,000.

Art Projects –Deadline: Wednesday, March 4, 2015
Awards provides critically needed funds to King County based artists and art groups of all disciplines, to create and present their work. Awards range from $2,500 to $8,500
