Additional Information
Each year, the outdoor advertising industry uses approximately 250 million square feet of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) or "vinyl" billboard flex, a material that can be re-used, but is difficult to recycle after its primary use.
A typical PVC-flex board weighs 75-lbs vs. a typical Eco-Flexx billboard's 20-lb weight
- · PVC billboard flex is typically made of polyester fiber core and PVC
surface. The PVC (resin and plasticizer) contributes about 80%
of the weight of the weight of the product.
- · The lighter weight of the Eco-Flexx billboards provides energy
savings for the environment and the bill-posters' bodies.
The carbon footprint of an Eco-Flexx billboard is 60% less than a standard PVC flex billboard.
Eco-Flexx is a Totally Chlorine Free (TCF) product.
Prior to the advent of Eco-Poster material, posters were composed of 10-12 paper sheets and adhered with a glue.
- · Eco-Poster is a single sheet poster finished with a pocket on the
back that accommodates small, re-usable clips that tension the
poster without any adhesive.
