How to use the Touring Arts Roster

The Touring Arts Roster is presented as a regional resource for artists and presenters. No payments are made directly to artists from 4Culture. Any contract made with participants in the Roster is the responsibility of the artist/organization and the contracting presenter.

Artists and presenters will determine the specifics of any booking; with sponsoring presenters paying an agreed upon fee that should not be higher than that listed in the Touring Arts Roster.

  • When contacting an artist, let them know that you found their listing in 4Culture's Touring Arts Roster
  • Let the artists know what you have to work with in terms of performance space and fees. Review the technical needs and fees for a group, but don't let extensive tech needs or higher fees prevent you from contacting an artist that you're interested in. Listed artists may be able to adapt their tech needs to suit your performance space, or set up a block booking or educational program to accommodate your budget.
  • In most cases, fees listed are for a 60-minute performance. Many of the artists included are available for both shorter and longer performances, with fees varying according to length. If you are interested in an artist but would like a different length show, give the artist's contact a call to see what might be possible.
