Thankfully, as the chilly weather makes the outdoors less inviting, 4Culture’s Touring Arts Roster performers make King County inside spaces extra inviting!  Check out some of what’s happening THIS WEEKEND…

11/1-3 Cultural Crossroads Festival, features four Touring Arts Roster groups during a weekend of international music, crafts and exhibits at Crossroads Mall in Bellevue.

FRI 11/1 @5pm – Marianna Trio: Traditional and Contemporary World Cabaret!

SAT 11/2 @4pm – New Age Flamenco: Flamenco, Jazz & Gypsy Soul!

SUN 11/3 @4pm – Juliana & PAVA: Russian folk!

SUN 11/3 @5pm – Show Brazil! Carnival… in Bellevue? It will be THIS weekend.

11/1-2 Unexpected Productions’ popular nights Improv Happy Hour and Theater Sports are ongoing, but they have just two more performances of Cannibal! The Musical (“The greatest comedy-horror-musical of all time”). 8:30pm, Market Theater.

11/1-3 The final performances of The Cabiri’s 7th annual dessert theater, cabaret – “Ghost Game VII: The Wild Hunt,” take place this weekend. A collection of ancient tales of fearsome hunters and those they hunt come to life via the groups dancers, acrobats, and aerialists. 8:00pm, Youngstown Cultural Arts Center in West Seattle.

11/2 Eduardo Mendonça gives a special performance especially designed for tots at Sound Bridge Presents: Big World Beats Arts Corp visits Seattle Symphony. 10:30am (sold-OUT) & 11:30am, All Ages (3-6 year olds), Illsley Ball Nordstrom Recital Hall.

11/2 Miss Rose & Her Rhythm Percolators, vintage jazz in period clothing, this talented trio always offers entertaining sets! 8-10:30pm, 21+, Vitos.

11/2 BELLY DANCE OFF 2013 GRAND CHAMPIONSHIP! Produced by Touring Arts Roster’s Suzanna and Friends. Six talented champion dancers compete with live music, to a panel of expert judges. But, aah, the audience scores decide the winner. 7:00pm, All Ages (until 9:00pm), Club Hollywood Casino in Shoreline.

11/2 Vocalist, Barbie Anaka, performs sweet songs with Tom Maeda on keys, and Steven Banks on drums. 8:30pm-12:30am, 21+, 13 Coins in SeaTac.



Now through 11/17 Seattle Shakespeare Company presents: Much Ado About Nothing Filled with eccentric clowns, heart-warming families, and troublesome rogues, this vibrant comic celebration of romance will have you cheering when love eventually wins out. Performances are Wed-Sun 7:30pm with matinees on Sat-Sun 2:00pm; The Center Theater.

Ongoing: Jet City Improv brings a unique form of audience-participation comedy to Seattle every Thursday-Saturday; 5510 University Way.
