Red Bull, in cooperation with the Seattle Department of Parks and Recreation and professional skateboarder Torey Pudwill, is building a permanent public artwork that is skateable called the Red Bull Skate Space. This unique public art experience explores the creative nexus of public space, athletic skill and individual imagination. Red Bull hired 4Culture to manage the call to Northwest artists and the selection process. “Blank Canvas”, produced by Pioneer Square-based Tether, takes you inside 4Culture’s conference room to see how Torey and the team selected Oregon artist C.J. Rench.
