10 Volunteers – 8 hours a day
Public Art 4Culture is looking for volunteers to help with assembly of artist Janet Zweig’s artwork Limited Edition, that will be installed this summer at Brightwater Wastewater Treatment Plant. Volunteers will work with the artist to glue magnets to golden tiles, an interactive element in the artwork to be installed on a long exterior wall of the Clarifier Building. Artists, students and those with an eye for detail who also enjoy working with their hands will become team members in bringing this artwork to completion. The public art program at Brightwater has been underway for over a decade, and we are excited to be installing artwork all summer in preparation for the plant’s opening on September 24th. We would love to have you join us for all three days, but one full day will be helpful as well. The project will take place at Brightwater, and volunteers will get a first look at the plant and the remarkable landscaped site.
