Help us map cultural space in King County

Do you have a cultural space in King County that’s outside of Seattle? 4Culture is partnering with the City of Seattle to identify and inventory creative space throughout the County. The goal is to identify every square foot of space to provide a baseline for our project planning and local community advocacy. A follow-up project will create a tool to match individuals or organizations looking for space with venues available for rent.

Our first survey is targeted at businesses. So if you are an organization managing a theater, cinema, music hall, club, sound stage, recording studio, bookstore, lecture hall, maker-space or meeting space and you are located within King County but outside of Seattle, please take our Cultural Space Survey and make your space known.

Melody Kadlub-Barr is managing the project, building on her work for the City of Seattle. You can see the result of the City of Seattle’s cultural space inventory map online.
