Are you a graphic designer? Web designer? Web programmer? Photographer? Videographer?
If you’re based in King County, we want you!
Please consider applying for the 4Culture Talent Roster. We’ll be using the Roster to select and hire professionals like you for a variety of 4Culture projects – coming up in 2014 and all the way through 2016. And we may share the Roster with other agencies who are looking to hire qualified folks, as we’d love to help support opportunities for you and your work.
Here’s how it works: A selection panel will review all eligible applications and select professionals for each category of the Talent Roster. Once set up, the Roster may be consulted by 4Culture staff who identify a 4C project that needs graphic design, web design, web programming, photo or video work. One or more Roster professionals will be contacted about the opportunity with a scope of work, timeline, and budget for their consideration. If interested in pursuing the project, the professional will be hired by 4Culture on a contractual basis. And the work will begin!
The first project the Talent Roster will be used for is Poetry on Buses 2.0. It’s an initiative that will create in-person and online poetry experiences throughout King County – on the bus, online, and in the community. The project has immediate need for a graphic designer, web designer and web programmer – with work to begin in February 2014. A photographer and/or videographer will be hired in the spring and/or summer. We’re looking forward to learning about you and your work, and finding the right team to work with us on this project!
Freelance professionals, creative firms or businesses working in these fields, are invited to apply. To view the full Request for Qualifications, and to apply, visit the 4Culture Opportunities Page and scroll down to the 4Culture Talent Roster listing. The deadline is January 13, 2014 and we encourage you to reach out with any questions you may have, well in advance.
