In and around Redmond’s Future Downtown Park

When in Redmond this summer, keep your eyes open: whimsy and apple pie abound!

Join City of Redmond Arts for summer on a deliciously silly scale as Lucia Neare’s Theatrical Wonders performs Professor Pomme’s Pomp and Pastry Paradoxicals in Redmond’s Future Downtown Park. Two smaller performances will parade through the streets around Redmond’s Future Downtown Park on July 21st and August 19th, both beginning at 4:00 pm,  with the series culminating in a larger celebration September 22nd.

This series of free site-specific installation-performances is infused with a spirit of joy and plenty for audiences of all ages. Come revel in an alchemical confection of apple lore and homespun delights! Unlike any theaterical experience the audience has ever seen, each Professor Pomme performance will begin in several locations all over Downtown Redmond, eventually culminating with the entire cast in Redmond’s Future Downtown Park, a new park between Cleveland Street and Redmond Way.

“Join us for any or all three of the performances and bring your appetite for merriment! We look forward to dancing with you in the true heart of Redmond,” says Lucia Neare, creator of Professor Pomme.

This project received funding from 4Culture Site-Specific and is presented by City of Redmond Arts.
