The project budget, which will be provided by the artist as part of the design, for fabrication, fabrication oversight, and artwork installation excluding the foundation will not exceed $175,000

Eligibility: Open to all artists
The City of Flagstaff (AZ) seeks Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) for an artist to conduct professional design services and work with a design team to create a landmark 3D artwork on a promontory at Spruce Wash Wedge (E. Cedar Avenue & N. West Street). Direction includes successfully contextualizing the 3D art on the promontory, creating a site-specific icon that can be appreciated by drive-by traffic, fabricating and installing artwork within the prescribed budgets, and designing a sculpture that is durable, requires minimal maintenance, meets safety requirements and deters graffiti.
