Cultural Space Agency
Director of Fund Development
- Budget: $102,000, benefits, three weeks Paid Time Off, $2,000 for professional development
The Director of Fund Development is a full-time position and will develop and oversee both philanthropic relationships and capital financing for the Cultural Space Agency. The Director will report directly to the Executive Director. Working closely with the Executive Director, the Director will be responsible for the continued development and growth of the Space Agency. This director level position is an opportunity to help develop innovative financial solutions in the arts and culture sector, which will include partnerships with both philanthropic supporters, financial institutions, impact investors, and direct community investors, to create feasible financial solutions for both Agency operations and capital investments. We are seeking a unicorn: a candidate who is well-versed in the world of philanthropic relationships, and who is equally comfortable in the world of finance and lending. An ability to navigate both of these worlds, and to work with varied partners in sectors as diverse as contemporary dance and impact investments, will be key to this Director’s success.
The Cultural Space Agency will be hosting several information sessions about this role. Please email StaffingUp@culturalspace.agency for more information, to attend, or to receive a video of a prior session.
Out of a deep commitment to removing barriers that have historically proven inequitable, we have intentionally omitted most of the strict requirements for a specific work history or formal training from this search.
