Despite the broad scope of our work, we are a small organization with only three full-time staff members: an Artistic Director, a Director of Development, and the new position of an Executive Assistant who will replace a departing office administrator.
Reporting to the Artistic Director, the Executive Assistant will provide the administrative and project support needed for efficient and reliable functioning of MOR’s office operations. The position requires strong written and spoken communication skills for representing the organization in a professional manner in person, on the phone and in written correspondence. Duties will include organizing and maintaining the organization’s office operations; providing primary telephone coverage; preparing correspondence, newsletters and reports; organizing materials for meetings and concerts; updating content information on the MOR website; handing internal and external information requests; staffing concerts; liaising with external vendors and service providers; processing invoices.
The position requires a proactive and self-motivated individual, with strong attention to detail and an ability to meet aggressive deadlines while balancing multiple priorities. The individual must be able to thrive while working independently with general oversight but minimal face-to-face supervision. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office is essential, and familiarity with social media platforms is highly desirable. The individual will be expected to learn the Donor Perfect database.
