Highline Heritage Museum
- Budget: Part-time 20 hours a week, $18/hour
Duties and Responsibilities:
ADMINISTRATION – Assistance with leadership, memberships, fundraising activities, volunteers- interns, visitors services, facilities, front desk, and museum store.
COMMUNICATIONS/MARKETING – Assistance with our messages at multiple platforms.
PROGRAMMING – Assistance with lectures, live performances, lectures, exhibit opening receptions, author readers, adult education classes, film viewings, artist demonstrations, social justice events, and object/artifact/appraisal events.
EXHIBITS & COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT – Assistance sharing authentic stories
EDUCATION – Assistance with creating a safe and welcoming space for children with their families and schools. On-site gallery/exhibit tours, offsite education programming at other community venues, onsite hands-on activities, offsite educational programming in school classrooms, and others.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
Strong organizational skills are a must and the candidate should have the ability to prioritize and organize multiple activities. Work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel is required.
