Group Sales & Guest Services Associate

  • Eligibility: At least 1 year of customer service experience; Sales and ticketing experience preferred. Must have success handling cash, checks, and credit cards. A positive, outgoing personality and a sense of humor are a plus! Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and answer customer questions patiently. Tessitura experience or ability to learn within 90 days preferred. Some HTML experience is a plus. Perform administrative tasks using a computer for long periods.

Position Summary:

The Group Sales and Guest Services Associate works closely with the Associate Director of Corporate, Groups, and Guest Experience on ticketing purchases of 10+ and our corporate sales program, Direct Connect. The role involves assisting guests via phone and email, and serving as the main contact for student groups and local concierge relationships.

We are seeking candidates who demonstrate excellent customer service, attention to detail, teamwork, and enthusiasm for the arts.

Primary Responsibilities:

Serve as the point person for group sales inquiries and inbound calls.
Support Guest Services with phone, email, and online chat for ticket sales, exchanges, and donations.
Process group sales orders, create invoices, and review sales reports.
Create corporate offers and track usage in Tessitura and Umbraco.
Coordinate student group visits and work with Education on special school performances.
Liaise with local concierge organizations.
Handle customer issues and escalate when necessary.
Balance cash, checks, and credit cards at the end of shifts.
