The City of Tucson seeks to commission innovative public artwork(s) that enhances a shared public space with community and fire and police located at this new public facility. The opportunity is open to all forms of public art that are appropriate for the desert climate. Public artwork(s) for this project may include but are not limited to stand alone sculpture, seating, shade structures, and integrative and functional elements. The artwork will be located outside, so sustainable materials as well as functionality in the Arizona climate are essential to address for long-term maintenance.
