Eligibility: Applicants must be a 501 (c) 3 organization or work through a fiscal partner with that standing. Projects must fit our mission (horticulture, arts and/or education) and occur in West Seattle or neighboring communities. Funds cannot be used for administration salaries or administrative costs.
The West Seattle Garden tour offers grants ranging in size from $3000 to $7000 to other nonprofits for projects that fit our mission to “promote horticulture, education or artistic endeavors in West Seattle and neighboring communities.” Founded in 1995, WSGT has funded projects that range from community gardens to school presentations on orca recovery to support for theatre and ballet performances. Applicants must be a 501 (c) 3 organization or work through a fiscal partner with that standing.
