Marymoor Park, 6046 W Lake Sammamish Parkway NE, Redmond
Create art and celebrate summer at Marymoor Park! Join three artists in making kites from recycled materials – and fly them, create clay sculptures to inspire cello compositions, listen to and tell stories about the Regional Trails.
This is an all-ages participatory mashup of performance, art, and big time fun, hosted by artists Susan Robb, Paul Rucker and Stokley Towles. These three interdisciplinary artists have been commissioned by 4Culture and King County Parks to create a series of work in response to the Regional Trails. They are working with you and for you, so bring your dad (it is Father’s Day afterall) and bring your friends to enjoy “your big backyard.”
