Poetry on Buses : Writing Home
Poetry on Buses celebrates local voices in one of our community’s most vital shared spaces—the bus.
Started in 1992, the program has grown to feature poems in five languages, shared both on King County transit and an online portal. Written by the person across the aisle, that kid in the back, and professional poets alike, the poems—one for every day of the year, all focused on the idea of home—reveal the beauty and diversity of our community.
