Art on the Fly in South Lake Union

Saturday June 11 – Noon to 6:00 p.m.

Take an art adventure aboard the Seattle Streetcar. Snake through downtown/South Lake Union where 3 stops – McGraw Square , 2200 Plaza and Lake Union Park – will be transformed by dance, including a dysfunctional dance-circus sideshow, postmodern stilt-walkers, a Geisha-beach party, giant puppets based on the 1880’s South American Nincompoopiana movement, fun kids stuff and much more. The first 100 people at McGraw Square (Westlake Streetcar Plaza) at noon receive a streetcar day pass FREE.

Art on the Fly is a program of Beyond the Threshold Seattle International Dance Festival taking place in the South Lake Union neighborhood from June 10 to June 19, and is supported by 4Culture’s Site Specific program.
