Ten Decades: Stories from Enumclaw

10 Decades, a film celebrating the City of Enumclaw’s Centennial, premieres August 2 at the Chalet Theatre in Enumclaw. 10 Decades is a collaboration between video producer Staci Bernstein, director Jane Kaplan, and the City of Enumclaw. This documentary tells five different stories from Enumclaw’s history focusing on the people who brought the city’s community spirit to life.

The music of Ripple uses sounds recorded under and around the Sammamish River that are layered and remixed in real-time to create new music. Wear comfortable shoes and meet up for a Feet First walking tour that leads to an intimate concert by Rulon Brown at a secret location near the Sammamish River. The location will be emailed to you. Rain or shine.

Entertaining, imaginative and informative, Suitcases Project is a free, all-ages continuous event with alternating scenes throughout the depot and on the trolley. Sample activities include: Buy a Suitcases Penny Rag for 1₵ with news items, puzzles, and cartoons, have your passbook stamped by the official Suitcases conductor, and more!

Historic sites are also encouraged to post their site information to the Roster of Historic Sites. With Site Specific, 4Culture seeks to engage King County residents and visitors with historically significant spaces across the county, utilizing the creative collaborators within our region.
