This Friday evening, Public Art 4Culture director Cath Brunner will participate in an evening of storytelling at Bellevue Arts Museum. The format is PechaKucha 20×20, a simple presentation format where you show 20 images, each for 20 seconds. The images advance automatically and you talk along to the images. Hailing from Texas, Cath is sure to have some tall tales to tell.

Pecha Kucha Seattle and BAM jon forces  to present the evening, PKN SEA v. 48: Telling Tales, part of an ongoing collaboration. The evening is inspired by BAM’s Telling Tales and Rick Araluce exhibitions. The event will be held on Friday, November 1, 6:30 – 8:30 PM, 2013 at the Bellevue Arts Museum. Come one, come all – we can’t wait to see you there!

Telling Tales joins together the works of three artists, Nate Steigenga, Cappy Thompson, and Anna Torma, working respectively in collage, fiber and glass. Rick Araluce: The Minutes, The Hours, The Days showcases the artist’s meticulously constructed miniature environments, animated by sound and lighting.
