Comin’ in Hot! is a cosmic crash-landing fueled by friendship and powered by curiosity. Amara Eke and Jade Knox have joined forces across dimensions (well, across 2D and 3D) to unleash several unfamiliar creatures, which take shape through ceramic forms and prismatic acrylic paintings peppered with recognizable symbols—such as clovers, eggs, and hearts—that suggest even the strangest beings have something in common with humans.

Coinciding with the Taurid meteor showers, the exhibition features Knox’s ceramic meteorites scattered throughout the gallery. Modeled after cosmic debris, these earthly objects draw attention to the relationship between the universe’s earliest formations and the futures the artists envision. Around them, Eke’s vibrant, cartoon-like paintings immerse viewers in expansive, playful worlds. Though each artist primarily works in 3D or 2D, look closely and you’ll find moments of collaboration that point toward a bright and promising horizon.
