Peter Kwon joins 4Culture’s board of directors

Kwon brings leadership in arts advocacy to the board

Summary

4Culture, King County’s cultural funding and services agency supporting arts, heritage, preservation and public art, is excited to welcome Peter Kwon to the 4Culture Board of Directors. A 15-member Board of Directors is the governing body of 4Culture, with individuals representing the cultural, geographic and ethnic diversity of King County. 4Culture is supported by Lodging Taxes and the 1% for Art ordinance.

The King County Council and Executive Dow Constantine appointed him on July 30, 2018.

Kwon is a Systems Engineer for Napster, the pioneering digital music streaming company headquartered in Seattle. He has been a City of SeaTac Councilmember since 2016, where he launched the Arts, Culture, and Library Advisory Committee to promote community involvement and participation.  With a lifelong passion for arts and culture, Peter is a member of the Highline Historic Society, the Highline Botanical Garden, and frequently helps to organize various community events.
