Dusty Roads of Longing

Golden haze
Descends to lust
Feral, hunger
Invites the dusk

Fall backwards
Greet me here
On this dusty road
Of longing

Embraced by purple Skies
Our names, jewels in her mouth
Shimmering colors of wildflowers
Blazing Stars, Tidy Tips

Dancing mountains
Evergreen dreams
Ocean’s Trumpet
Salmon springs

I
am
home
