Nohn Truong’s enamel on aluminum mural, Making Choices, was moved from the old Youth Services Center to the café in the CFJC’s juvenile court building. One of Truong’s first public commissions, it seeks to provide hope for young people and families involved in the justice system by exploring themes of community, cultural diversity, dreams, and the future. Though painted in a youthful style, the mural’s content also reflects older communities in an effort to bridge the gaps between audiences of all ages and backgrounds.
