Artists Up is a collaborative effort between the City of Seattle Office of Arts & Culture and 4Culture to expand capacity and networks for artists in our region. The program aims to support artists of color with resources, services and programs.

Since 2012, Artists Up has been listening and learning from artists of color in our region. Gatherings and networking events have provided us with invaluable information. Visit to see what we've learned and how it is informing our work every day.

Grant LAB

Eighteen artists were awarded funds from this experimental program designed to remove barriers for under-represented artists and increase racial equity in grant making. Learn more about the artists and what Artists Up discovered in our report, Learning from Grant LAB.
