The Seattle Women’s Steel Pan Project

Seattle Women’s Steel Pan Project has worked with Seattle Theatre Group on several occasions. Their versatility has allowed them to perform in one of our Historic Theaters on a large professional stage, as well as small social events. Not only is the music beautiful, uplifting, and joyful, but they are professional and a pleasure to work with!

The Women’s Steel Band’s performance was momentous, gigantic, bumping and righteously rhythmic: brimming with head shaking beats and laced with smooth-out harmonies. They were on point, musically innovative and in tune with what’s going on. They captivated the audience and took them on a journey. It’s immediately undeniable an awe struck performance complete with an unforgettable audience participation, the kind of beats that pound in the chest. It felt good!
