Eligibility: • 3-5 years of successful accounting experience, preferably in a museum or nonprofit setting. • Bachelor’s degree or any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved. • Thorough knowledge of GAAP and nonprofit financial reporting standards. • Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail, ensuring that all financial data is accurately captured and entered into the accounting system.

Rate of Pay: $65,000 – $85,000 per year

Position Description:
The Senior Accountant is a hands-on position responsible for the overall day-to-day accounting activities, including recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing journal entries. This person is integral to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of accounting activities. They focus primarily on data management, compliance, and reporting.
