Call for Artists: Experiencing the Seven Principles: A Kwanzaa Anthology
BLACK 4 CHARITIES invites artists, writers, poets, photographers, illustrators, and creatives of all ages to submit original work for Experiencing the Seven Principles: A Kwanzaa Anthology.
This collaborative publication celebrates the seven principles of Kwanzaa (Nguzo Saba): Umoja (Unity), Kujichagulia (Self-Determination), Ujima (Collective Work & Responsibility), Ujamaa (Cooperative Economics), Nia (Purpose), Kuumba (Creativity), and Imani (Faith).
We welcome original poetry, short stories, essays, personal narratives, short plays, photography, paintings, drawings, illustration, digital art, comics, mixed media, and other visual or literary works. Artists may submit up to 10 pieces for consideration.
Selected contributors will be featured in the published anthology, receive professional credit, two complimentary copies, and promotional recognition through BLACK 4 CHARITIES.
Eligibility: Open to artists and writers of all ages and experience levels.
Submission Deadline: January 31, 2027
