Public Art Dialogue

  • Deadline: Ongoing
  • Eligibility: Open to all working in the field of public art.

The Editors of Public Art Dialogue are now inviting submissions for all sections of the journal. All article, essay, artist’s statement, and book review submissions must be double-spaced, have numbered pages, and strictly follow the MLA endnote format (when notes are used). We are seeking scholarly articles, essays, book reviews and artist projects which are unique artworks and/or art interventions designed specifically for the pages of Public Art Dialogue.

Articles presenting new information or interpretations of subjects pertaining to the theme of the issue. There will be opportunities for open issues without specific, predetermined themes as well. Essays are opinion pieces, comparable to position papers that advocate a particular approach (theoretical or otherwise) to the subject. Artist projects should relate to the theme of a particular issue and treat the journal itself as a site/space for public art. Links to web-based works are also acceptable.
