Eligibility: -Must be 21 years of age or older. -Must have NOT been part of the Keshet Makers Space Experience in the past five years (2020-2024 participants) NOTE: if you were an artist brought in by a previous Maker during this time period, but -not the actual applicant, you are eligible to apply. -Must be individuals interested in participating in a community cohort -Must be artists interested in utilizing their art form / artistic practice / artistic voice to make a positive impact.
Come explore, move, and create with Keshet! Keshet’s 2027 Makers Space Experience applications open from September 1 through October 1, 2026! What is the Makers Space Experience? (MSE)
The Makers Space Experience (MSE) is a ten-day cohort-based residency program and is intended for choreographers, dancers, and movement makers of all kinds to connect, create, and collaborate at Keshet Center for the Arts. Artists from across the country and world gather at Keshet for the ten day experience as they explore, move, share, and create.
This transformative residency provides choreographers, dancemakers, and movement-based multidisciplinary artists with:
– Dedicated studio space
– Collaborative movement classes
– Practical arts business workshops
– Performance option at the end of the residency
